The Courses

All the courses have one thing in common: they deal with paper, paper objects and books. They are divided into two groups: Historical techniques and restoration/ conservation topics.

In "Historic Techniques" we deal with the practical knowledge from ancient, medieval times. The conservation topics are about preservation of paper and books and contain a bit of practical conservation work. All courses intend not to be merely abstract, but practical.

The courses are open for all people interested in these subjects. They are suitable for many events. They can also be offered in the surrounding field of expositions as an option for visitors. In this way they might contribute to the success of the exposition. I appreciate any further suggestions!
